The Northport Hotel 

Sous Chef

We are looking for a detail-oriented culinarian that has a passion for food, quality and customer service. The candidate must be reliable, respectful and team oriented. High volume food service experience is a plus. The candidate must hold Their self the team and the company to the highest of standards, embrace a culture of service and teamwork and be able to manage stress and consistently strive to improve the product and process by which we present our product.

Compensation commensurate with experience.

The Northport Hotel is a brand new boutique hotel in the heart of historic Northport NY. We offer 26 luxury rooms that feature 5 star amenities and a service experience to match. We are proud to be the home of our 170 seat casual fine dining restaurant serving lunch, brunch, pre theater and dinner 7 days per week. We are guided by our mission and vision statements to provide extraordinary guest experiences to all who visit us. This is a non-smoking / non-vaping facility. 

Executive Chef  / Kitchen Manager

  • Experience in high volume facility.

  • Show history of maintaining job stability. 

  • Creative and Trendy with attention to detail and presentation.

  • Ability to create and build recipes from scratch, with costing and waste control.

  • Management / Leadership Experience.

  • Ordering Experience.

  • Cost Control Experience.

  • Budget & Schedule Experience.

  • SUFFOLK COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT CERTIFICATION

  • Must have a record of Positive & Professional relationships with FOH Staff.

  • Willingness to take direction from Ownership and Management.

  • Cleanliness and Equipment Care.

Line Cook

  • Experience in high volume facility.

  • Able to follow directions.

  • Prep experience and ability to follow recipes.

  • SUFFOLK COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT CERTIFICATION

  • Must have a record of Positive & Professional relationships with FOH Staff

  • Willingness to take direction from Ownership and Management

  • Cleanliness and Equipment Care.

  • Aptitude to present dishes as directed by the chef with care in preparation and presentation.

  • Show history of maintaining job stability.
